Jeanine Ballone

Board Member

Research and Innovation, PVH Corporation, and president and founder, Zero to Hero Foundation; an avid and native New Yorker, Ballone attended New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and the American College London. She remains deeply engaged within the fashion industry and acts as a mentor to many young and aspiring fashion industry up-and-comers. She has a deep and rich history in global sourcing and supply chain functionality garnered from industry roles in Africa, Asia, Europe, and South and Central America. Jeanine developed the Zero to Hero Foundation in an effort to highlight the concerns of women and children in an economy based on global sourcing. She brings her extensive background and talent to Zero to Hero to provide hope to people who otherwise would not have an opportunity to succeed.

Ellen Sollitto

Board Member

Ellen has been employed by the Associated Press since January 2004 and is currently the company’s Vice President of Internal Audit. In this role, she oversees all audits of the organization’s worldwide operations, acts as one of the company’s compliance officers and manages its whistleblower program, and performs ad-hoc reviews and projects including fraud investigations.
Ellen has extensive international and media experience. She started her professional career with Deloitte & Touche, spending six years there specializing in international clients. From there she moved to Viacom, and spent 10 years auditing its worldwide operations in her position as Internal Audit Director before coming to AP.
Ellen received her MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School. She also holds a BA in economics from Colgate University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ellen is an avid traveler and soccer player. She is mom to two boys and enjoys sharing these hobbies with both of them.

Barbara Ende

Board Member

After completing a Masters of French at the Sorbonne in Paris, Barbara returned to her home city of New York and launched her career in fashion with the French Fashion and Textile Center. The Center, funded by the French Couture and Ready-to-wear associations, was responsible for strategic business growth in the U.S. market via important public relations and event campaigns. In 1995, Ms. Ende converted the Center into her private consultancy focused on international trade development, issues pertaining to global sourcing and public relations/marketing strategy creation. The Sycamore Marketing Group Inc.’s client are found worldwide in countries such as Singapore, Morocco, Mauritius, U.S.A., Thailand, India, etc. In addition, Ms. Ende is a Senior Apparel Consultant to USAID
